Apple officially joins the Black Friday madnesss announcing its plans to give away gift cards instead of product discounts. As the company offers more deals on its products, latest figures show that Apple's latest iPhone series have been helping the smartphone manufacturer regain and expand more market share.

According to the announcement (via ZDNET) Apple will be offering a $50 iTunes card on iPads while MacBooks and iMacs will come with a $100 card. While Apple often waited for the last minute to release details about Black Friday deals but since Tim Cook's era, Apple has been changing how it handles things.

In fact, as part of the company's World AIDS Day initiative and fight against diseases, the company released its Black Friday information earlier. The company posted on its page: "This Friday, buy select Apple products and get a gift that gives back." Apple will be offering the special (PRODUCT) RED iTunes gift cards this November 28.

However, some note the apparent decreased value of the gift cards. In 2013, Apple offered a $75 iPad gift card while Macs came with $150. As Apple encourages more deals of its product line, recent figures show that its new iPhone 6 series may have helped regained and added more market share to the company's slice.

While Apple has been enjoying a lucrative percentage of the global smartphone industry, it may soon enjoy more as the iPhone 6 carves out a bigger piece of the pie according to the Wall Street Journal. Likewise, investors appear to be betting more on Apple seeing that the company's share price has gone up exponentially beyond 18% since its fiscal fourth-quarter results. This also meant a 50% increase for the year to date.

Analysts and investors also remain optimistic that following Apple's $700 billion market cap, it could easily reach a trillion dollars valuation after a few more releases.
