As if not wanting to aggravate the increasing disappointments of his audience, Chris Lilley goes to a familiar territory as it chose to feature pro surfer- turned gang leader in its third episode of "Angry Boys" Wednesday.

"Angry Boys" has remained a strong in its audience share in its last week’s episode as Chris Lilley featured the character of U.S. rap artist, S. Mouse. But the Northern Star said in its report that the show had sparked mixed reactions from the viewers - - some are loving it while some are totally loathing it, not finding the show surprisingly funny.

Both the show’s critics and supporters have expressed dismay over last week’s episode emphasizing utter distaste for the portrayal made by Lilley of the American artist. The Northern Star even noted the critics’ claims that the 2nd installment of the 12-part series was conceptualized to lure the American audience.

This week’s episode allows Lilley to feature the character of Blake Oakfield, a pro surfer who became the leader of the group called, Mucca Mad Boys. Oakfield said The Northern Star news website is closer to the hearts of the Australian audience and therefore is expected to get more viewer share.

Last week, “Angry Boys” got the third spot in the ratings with 1.346 viewers, following behind MasterChef (2nd) and “Australia’s Got Talent” (1st).

‘Angry Boys’ isn’t funny?

This week’s episode could be a turning point for the audience however, for it will allow the viewers to decide whether they will stick with the "Angry Boys" and watch out for its fourth installment next Wednesday. Or determine if they have had it and this week is the "Angry Boys" last episode they will tune into and will change shows next week.
