Actor Travis Jeffery has recently admitted, that as a teenager, he had a crush on the actress-turned-director Angelina Jolie and it was a dream come true be directed by the actress in "Unbroken." The 25-year-old confessed that it took him a while to believe that he will get to work with someone whom he admired.

"I was a bit terrified! You know, being a boy growing up, she was the most famous celebrity and it was like, 'Ohmygod I'm going to meet somebody I've had a crush on my whole life. I had no idea what to expect," the actor said to The Fix. However, after working with Angelina, the actor realised that she is the warmest person he has come across. "She was just the most down-to-earth, lovely, compassionate and helpful woman," he added. Angelina even became a part of Travis' selfie sessions and was happy to pose while shooting for "Unbroken."

In "Unbroken" Travis plays a small role of Scot. The film tells the real life story of Olympian Louis Zamperini, a World War II survivor. He survives a plane crash and is caught by a Japanese navy ship and exiled to a Prisoner Of War. The role of Zamperini is played by Jack O' Connell. "Unbroken" is Jolie's second directorial venture and has met with rave reviews. The film is also being considered a major Oscar contender.

Meanwhile, Travis who made a markk with "Unbroken," will be next seen in Nine Network's upcoming eight-part Aussie mini-series "Gallipoli." He will be seen playing the role of Stewie in the highly anticipated drama series. "Gallipoli" has been adapted from the best-selling book of the same name by Les Carlyon. It was shot in Turkey over a period of six months. For Travis shooting in Turkey, was an incredible experience, reported 9Jumpin. Gallipoli is reportedly a unique and beautiful place in itself. "Gallipoli" is set to air in 2015. It revolves around the of the ten-month campaign in Turkey emphasising the land of ANZAC troops. Travis' role is that of a trooper in the Australian 10th Light Horse Regiment.
