Angelina Jolie is a “minimally talented spoiled brat,” according to producer Scott Rudin. Brad Pitt’s wife has been the subject of trash-talking by the Hollywood film producer over the as-yet untitled “Cleopatra” film and Steve Jobs biopic in leaked emails.

The leaked emails are part of the massive Sony Pictures company cyber attack, which saw thousands of delicate company information being distributed online. Included in the hacked files are the email exchanges between Rudin and Sony Pictures co-chairman Amy Pascal.

The two were arguing over Jolie’s desire to hire David Fincher to direct her version of “Cleopatra,” but Fincher was being pushed to direct “Jobs.” This had upset Jolie. Rudin wanted Pascal to shut Jolie up because she might make it hard for Fincher to do “Jobs.” Apparently, Jolie’s “Cleo” wasn’t anywhere ready yet, and she needed Fincher to make it happen. Unfortunately, Pascal already gave Fincher “Jobs.”

Rudin didn’t believe “Cleopatra” would fly since no one, not even Jolie, liked the script. In the email exchanges, it was apparent that Rudin was getting so fed up with Jolie that he kept calling her a “spoiled brat” with a “spoiled ego.”

“I’m not destroying my career over a minimally talented spoiled brat who thought nothing of shoving this off her plate for eighteen months so she could go direct a movie. I have no desire to be making a movie with her, or anybody, that she runs and that we don’t. She’s a camp event and a celebrity and that’s all and the last thing anybody needs is to make a giant bomb with her that any fool could see coming,” his email to Pascal reads, as obtained by Defamer.

And lest he is accused of being brave only behind a computer screen, Rudin added that he was “happy” to say all those things to Jolie’s face directly since he had no desire to please her.

The “minimally talented” woman he was referring to has an Academy Award and a multitude of other accolades under her belt. Her newest film “Unbroken,” which she directed, has been receiving positive reviews so far.

Rudin is an award-winning film producer who is one of the few people who won an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony Award. He has produced critically acclaimed and blockbuster hits, such as “No Country for Old Men,” “The Social Network,” “True Grit” and “Captain Phillips.” Interestingly, the man who has such low opinions of Jolie also produced her husband’s “Moneyball” in 2011.

The emails between Pascal and Rudin were dated in February. And currently, neither “Cleopatra” nor “Jobs” looks anywhere near ready for production. “Jobs” has been in the early development stage since three years ago, and recent reports say that the film has been out of Sony’s grasp and into Universal Pictures’. Jolie’s “Cleopatra” is on the same page, with everything is still in “early discussions.”
