British no. 1 Andy Murray wants to make the upcoming 2015 a great year for him by starting to get back to Hopman Cup action, after not joining for the past three years. Andy Murray and Heather Watson will represent Great Britain at the Hopman Cup on Jan. 4 to Jan. 10, 2015. The 27-year-old last played at the Hopman Cup in 2011 with Laura Robson. With the recent changes in Andy Murray's coaching staff, after an overwhelming season last year, his tandem with coach Amelie Mauresmo will be tested at the upcoming Hopman Cup.

The Hopman Cup is an annual event held every January in Perth, where players both males and females, from different countries make up a team and fight against each other. There are usually eight different nations that are chosen to compete against each other.The countries are grouped into two, consisting of four members, and then, each team will compete against three teams in their group in a round-robin format. The two winners will then move to the finals. The match will be played by two teams consisting of a mixed doubles set and men's and women's singles.

Andy Murray and Heather Watson will be the representative of Great Britain, who's part of Group B fighting against Australia, France and Poland. Nick Krygios and Casey Dellacqua represent Australia, while the team of France is represented by Benoit Paire and Alize Cornet. The team of Poland will be represented by Jerzy Janowicz and Agnieszka Radwanska.

The Group A where United States is included has John Isner and Serena Williams, who are among the most favourites. Canada will be represented by Vasek Posposil and Eugenie Bouchard, while Italy will have Fabio Fognini and Flavia Pennetta and the Czech Republic's team is consist of Adam Pavlasek and Lucie Safarova. Meanwhile, just recently Andy Murray's Adidas contract has ended and he signed a new four-year contract with Under Armour worth 15 million pounds. Murray's contract with the German clothing line, Adidas has officially ended.
