Does the type of smartphone you have determine your dating style? A new survey from Match.com shows a correlation between the type of smartphone you own and your relationship style.

According to Kimberly Moffit, "relationship insider" at Match.com, a survey conducted by the site reveals that iPhone users are romantics, Blackberry users are drunk dialers and Android users are more likely to jump into bed after a first date. iPhone users have been labeled as office romantics and are more likely to date someone in their workplace. Nearly a quarter of iPhone users have dated someone from the office in the past five years. Those who want to get a call after a first date should look for iPhone users because they'll only wait one day after a date to call while Android or Blackberry users will wait until after two or three dates.

Blackberry users are more likely to have a drink on the first date; about 72 percent of the respondents said they will have an alcoholic beverage on a first night out. People who believe in love at first sight should date Blackberry users because 67 percent of Blackberry users believe they have experienced love at first sight.

Android users are more likely to be seduced on a first date with 62 percent of the Android singles admitted they've had sex after a first date. Google's users are ahead of Blackberry users, with only 48 percent of Blackberry devices willing to have sex after a first date. Only 57 percent of iPhone users would be willing to jump into bed after a first date. Android users are also big fans of dating sites with 72 percent of Android users, having visited an online dating site compare to just 58 percent of iPhone fans and 50 percent of Blackberry users.

While these surveys are interesting they're not really very scientific given the small group of respondents. If you want to find your perfect match this Valentine's Day you shouldn't pin all your hopes on the type of smartphone they own.
