An Android-powered Lenovo tablet with a huge display screen appeared on the benchmarking site GFXBench. According to the listing, the tablet will feature an 18.4-inch display with Quad HD resolution.

The forthcoming Lenovo tablet might take on Samsung’s Galaxy View which also sports a huge 18.4-inch display. In addition to the generous screen size, Lenovo will also equip the device with 2,560 x 1,440 resolution.

More importantly, unlike Samsung Galaxy View, the new Lenovo tablet codenamed as PB2-690N in the sheet will come packed with high-end specs and features.

The benchmarking site has listed the new Lenovo tablet with a 1.8GHz octa core Qualcomm processor which includes four Cortex A72s, indicating at Snapdragon 652 chipset.

The graphics department will be handled by Qualcomm Adreno 510 GPU. There will be 4GB of RAM and 64GB of in-built storage out-of-the-box.

According to the GFXBench listing, the new Lenovo tablet will be shipped with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow pre-installed.

Google’s latest Android OS will likely bring support for split-screen mode like the Lenovo Yoga Tab 3. The 8-inch Android tablet sports dual-window multitasking. This enables users run two applications simultaneously in a split-screen view.

In 2015, Lenovo launched the Yoga Home 900, a Windows 10-powered tabletop tablet which touts a 27-inch display screen and run on Intel Core processor. It seems, this year Lenovo is again gearing up release a gadget for those who prefers big screens, as reported by Phone Arena.

Last year, Samsung launched its Galaxy View tablet in the U.S. with a price tag of US$599 (AU$842). The Galaxy View is a small personal TV which features an 18.4-inch Full HD display with 1920 x 1080 resolution resulting in a pixel density of 123ppi.

The massive TV-tablet hybrid device is powered by a 1.6GHz octa-core Samsung Exynos 7580 processor paired with 2GB of RAM. The tablet is available with either 32GB or 64GB of internal storage as well as a micro SD slot.
