LG has started seeding the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for the international variant of its LG V10 in South Korea and Turkey, but the company is expected to roll out the software update across the globe soon.

The software update will bring in usual Marshmallow features like the power-saving Doze mode, reorganised Apps permission and Direct Share. The Android 6.0 update will also introduce a dynamic automatic brightness adjustment, which will help the device fine-tune ambient light, and a revamped silent mode that can readily block notifications as well as sounds of some or all apps during a predetermined time period.

At the same time, QMemo+ has been renamed to Capture+, and LG Bridge to LG AirDrive, while improvements to the Do Not Disturb (DND) mode are added.

The Knock Code pattern has also been updated and now requires six taps in at least three different quarters to identify a locking pattern.

According to the LG Mobile Korea website, the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for V10 will enhance power usage by restricting background data when the owner is not using it. The convenient LG UX will add a visible reminder setting functionality.

Moreover, it will also ensure easy app settings and memory check. Users can also enjoy the new LG Smart Font and LG Health.

However, unlike the Android 6.0.1 update, this upgrade will not bring along new emoji ranges.
