Android 5.0 Easter egg seems refreshing compared to previous Android version having the game mechanics of the popular game "Flappy Bird." Users must help Android survive lollipops avoiding and dodging them in mid-air.

Android 5.0 Lollipop Easter Egg Based On 'Flappy Bird'

Players who loved "Flappy Bird" can finally re-experience the dodgy gameplay via Easter egg of Android 5.0 Lollipop. Google recently released the SDK update of Android 5.0 Lollipop for Nexus 5 and Nexus 7 with a surprising new Easter egg. Android Central caught the new Easter egg which features the "Flappy Bird" engine and game mechanics with Android as the main character.

Like "Flappy Bird," users will need to avoid and dodge obstacles in mid-air to survive but instead of tubes; lollipops will be blocking the path to stop Android. In addition to the "Flappy Droid" Easter egg, users tapping the Android Version under the Settings menu will also see a lollipop which changes colour when tapped.

How To Access And Play Android 5.0 'Flappy Droid' Easter Egg

Just like with other Android version released, accessing the Easter egg is relatively easy. Follow the instructions below to play "Flappy Droid" on an Android 5.0 Lollipop device.

1. Open the Notifications Shade.

2. Select the gear icon to reveal the Settings menu.

3. Inside the Settings menu, swipe downward to see About Phone or About Tablet.

4. Tap on About Phone or About Tablet.

5. Tap several times on the Android Version which notes Android 5.0.

6. Wait till the lollipop loads up then long press to reveal the Easter egg.

7. Play the game on the device like "Flappy Bird."

Be reminded that "Flappy Bird" is simple but has a difficult and addictive gameplay which means "Flappy Droid" will give the same gaming experience to users. Easter egg on the previous Android version -- Android KitKat -- was a simple animation tray of the dessert while Android Jelly Bean offered tap and swipe of multiple jellybeans flying across the display screen.
