Balancing career and personali life was never easy. It is a taxing juggling task. For Serbian tennis ace Ana Ivanovic, she doesn’t worry about having her life out of balance or having too much tennis tournaments on her plate because was able to balance a fulfilling sports career and a successful personal life.

In an article by NDTV Sports, Ivanovic talked about how she was able to reach an ideal tennis career-life balance. She doesn’t need to adhere to important rules or guidelines. All she needs is a little help from her brother as well as her tennis coaching team and she is guaranteed to meet the increasing demands of her sports career and personal life.

Ivanovic said that she used to constantly think about tennis all the time when she was younger. It used to be that she never gets to have a little break for herself from tournaments. However, things have changed. She said that she gets a little time off now because she doesn’t necessarily need to attend to things because her brother and her team are always there to assist her.

The seventh-ranked female tennis player reckoned that the work-life balance has helped her improve. Ivanovic said that she is moving toward a new era in her career.

“The last couple of weeks have been really exciting,” Ivanovic said. “I am just improving and getting better, and getting to be where I want to be.”

The Serbian tennis star has reached the semifinals of the 2015 French Open, giving her more confidence as she continues her campaign in the second half of the season. It was Ivanovic’s best performance since competing at Indian Wells where she was eliminated early in the tournament. Following her early exit at Indian Wells, Ivanovic also suffered early-round losses in Miami, Stuttgart, Madrid, and Rome.

Ivanovic is currently competing at the Women’s Tennis Association Premier Tournament, 2015 Aegon Classic. Ivanovic received a bye into the second round and will face Michelle Larcher de Brito in her bid to defend her crown in Birmingham. The match will be the first time that Ivanovic will meet de Brito on professional tour.
