The infamous Amy’s Baking Company is back, and the Bouzaglos are still as crazy as ever. Amy and Samy Bouzaglo, who are arguably the most memorable participants in Chef Gordon Ramsay’s “Kitchen Nightmares,” are having their own reality show, whether their critics like it or not.

The Scottsdale, Arizona-based couple became an online sensation in May when they were featured in Ramsay’s reality show about flailing restaurants that need help. For the first time in the show, Ramsay gave up helping the Bouzaglos when they both reject every suggestion and criticism he offered.

Even before they appeared on the show, they were already struggling with online reviews of their restaurant. They claimed that one irate customer wrote a scathing review about their restaurant in a bid to bring them down. That’s why they asked Ramsay’s help in disproving their critics wrong.

But after observing how the couple attacked their customers, stole tips from their servers, fired a young server for daring to ask Amy a question, and served unappetising food, Ramsay had to agree with their critics, which did not please the Bouzaglos.

Their less-than-savoury reputation even suffered more after the episode, and the two fought back with words online. They later claimed that their social media accounts were hacked, and they didn’t really call everyone names. Their notoriety opened their past to the public, though, and Amy and Samy’s criminal past and Samy’s problem with immigration became known.

That was back in May and June. Now, when they public thought that their 15 minutes of fame was up, they are set to come back with a new reality show.

My Fox Phoenix interviewed the couple to see if the uproar about them was true. Instead of Amy and Samy attacking customers with knives, the reporter saw that they were quite mellow, even claiming Amy was “funny.”

“They filmed for two days and they took 36 minutes of two days worth of film and they put every single crazy moment together they could,” Amy explained why they appeared crazy in Ramsay’s show.

“We are not psychotic. We are wild and crazy and zany and nutty... but in a good way,” she added.

The Bouzaglos also claimed that many customers had gone into their restaurant to see if what they’ve watched on TV was true. The customers apparently created drama on their own. Someone even planted a rubber cockroach on his food just to create controversy.

“They wanted to see the drama. They wanted to see us screaming. They wanted to see the food come out two hours later. Whatever.”

But with their own reality show, they don’t have to put up with such customers anymore. They will be the stars of their show.

“We have to go out in a blaze of glory and show people how we will roar! You will hear us roar ‘cause we feel down, we’re gonna pull ourselves up. We went from zero to our own heroes. We have to show everybody the real us. That’s why we agreed to do a reality show,” Amy said.

So what about this reality show? When are they going to appear on air?

As Amy divulged to RadarOnline.com, they were in contract with Irwin Entertainment, but they cancelled the contract due to undisclosed reasons.

They are not under contract with any production company at the moment, but Amy vowed that they “will have the reality show, we’re trying to decide which direction we’re gonna take it.”

She added to the Web site, “We kind of reinvented reality TV because all of the producers that reached out to us said, ‘You guys are TV gold because you were real!’”
