After winning “America’s Got Talent” season 10, British ventriloquist Paul Zerdin may soon land his own reality show on American television.

In an interview with The Sun, Zerdin revealed that he is currently in talks with Freemantle, the producers of “America’s Got Talent” on NBC and “X Factor” on Fox, for a possible collaboration.

“I’ve got meeting with Freemantle here in LA about doing something,” he said. “We’re talking about a chat show out here, like a comedy chat show where the puppets ask the questions. You can push it a little bit and be a bit rude.”

Zerdin is now living the dream with daily puppet shows scheduled in Las Vegas, Nevada. He has been booked to perform at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino until November. Ticket price for Zerdin’s puppet show starts at US$55 (AU$71) plus tax.

But performing for television remains one of the comedian's ambitions.

“Vegas is the dream, but I also wanted to concentrate on doing more TV stuff. There’s been a lot of interest from TV.

“I’ve got a sitcom idea as well. It’s like a one-man Muppets, with me as the babysitter looking after this dysfunctional family.”

A year after winning AGT’s US$1 million (AU$1.3 million) grand prize, Zerdin went back to the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood and performed with his puppet pal Sam during the first live show for season 11 last July 26.

In a separate interview with Las Vegas magazine, Zerdin said performing live in Las Vegas is totally different than on AGT.

“It’s a bit edgy, with things you can’t say on prime time television. It’s cheekier than what you saw on AGT,” he pointed out.
