“American Idol” 2016 Top 5 will be revealed soon. Dalton Rapattoni, La’Porsha Renae and Trent Harmon are all expected to make it, but Sonika Vaid, Tristan McIntosh and MacKenzie Bourg could not be too far behind.

In the previous episodes of “American Idol” Season 15 (a.k.a. the farewell season), judges Jennifer Lopez, Harry Connick Jr and Keith Urban have all been generous with praises for the last batch of AI finalists. Dalton Rapattoni and MacKenzie Bourg both have some advantage over their rivals, thanks to their gigs and social media exposure before joining “American Idol.” Dalton was with a boy band called IM5 (check out an old YouTube video here), while MacKenzie did covers and got featured in an original music video with Marie Digby (video in her official website). However, La’Porsha and Dalton have been impressing the judges more and more with each episode.

Here’s a look into the AI hopefuls’ current social media standings. While the American Idol 2016 winner could not be predicted based on these numbers alone, it shows Dalton’s and Mackenzie’s numbers are mostly way far ahead. When it comes to Facebook, however, La’Porsha is clearly on top.

Sonika Vaid was in danger a week ago. Will she make another trip to the bottom three this week, or will someone else get the least number of votes? Fans are set to find out this Thursday on “American Idol” 2016, the final season.

Who went home after the Top 5 reveal in the March 17 episode? Tristan and Sonika were at the bottom two. Both young ladies sang their hearts out for the final slot. After the judges' deliberations, the one chosen to stay was Sonika Vaid.
