“American Idol” 2015 Top 7 videos on YouTube are getting tens of thousands of views per clip; among the most viewed after Billboard Night (AI 14x24, Fox air date: 4/8/2015) are Clark Beckham, Jax, Joey Cook and Nick Fradiani. Meanwhile, Qaasim Middleton has ended his journey on AI Season 14.

“American Idol” 2015 judges Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban and Harry Connick Jr offered mixed reviews to most of the remaining Idol hopefuls, but YouTube viewers have a clear Billboard Night Top 4 (so far): Clark Beckham, Jax, Joey Cook and Nick Fradiani.

Clark Beckham, 22, strummed his guitar to Ed Sheeran’s “Make It Rain.” Jax, 18, covered Lady Gaga’s “Poker Face.” Joey Cook, 24, tackled “Wrecking Ball” by Miley Cyrus. Nick Fradiani, 29, also took his guitar on stage, covering Katy Perry’s “Teenage Dream.” AI Season 14 judges were not particularly wowed by some of these four, though.

AI judge JLo told Beckham his vocals are amazing, but he needs help in making his total package shine with his voice. To Jax, JLo expressed disappointment in the manner by which Lady Gaga’s song was covered. Lady Gaga herself, however, took to Twitter to acknowledge Jax’s song of choice on “American Idol” 2015 Billboard Night.

To Nick Fradiani, AI judge Harry Connick Jr said he was looking for more grit, and “Teenage Dream” may not be the song to bring out that edge. To Joey Cook, Harry said he got bored toward the end of her number.

In the order of views (as of this writing), these Billboard Night clips (contestants only) are the most popular on American Idol’s verified YouTube page: Clark with over 72,800; Jax, 63,800; Joey Cook, 51,200; and Nick Fradiani, 49,900.

Also in “American Idol” 2015 Top 7 are: Quentin Alexander, Tyanna Jones and Rayvon Owen. Owen wound up in the Fan Save round for the second time in as many weeks. Twitter voters favoured him over Daniel Seavey a week ago. This time, he beats Qaasim Middleton.

Qaasim Middleton sang "Hey Ya!" by Outkast before he was voted out via AI 2015 Fan Save on Twitter. Qaasim was the recipient of the judges’ singular “save” this AI season.
