American Idol 2013 last week saved both Candice Glover and Amber Holcomb from going home. The bottom two sailed through to the next round, as Idol had one extra week in its Fox schedule. Now Angie Miller has one up Candice for being the only Final Four candidate who's never been in the bottom of results. Here are 5 ways Candice can win against Angie in the remaining weeks of the competition.

The "extra week" of American Idol Season 12 came from the judges' non-use of their singular save option for the season. Prior to the Top 4 round, Candice Glover and Angie Miller were on top of the game as neither of them has been to the bottom two or three of previous voting results.

Angie ruled the performance night last week with "Who You Are" by Jessie J and "Cry Me a River" by Ella Fitzgerald. She also held her own with Candice when they performed a duet of Rihanna's "Stay." Candice, meanwhile, was on middleground with "Find Your Love" by Drake and "Emotion" by Samantha Sang. At such a crucial point in the competition, how can Candice grab the perceived top spot from Angie? Here are three ways:

1. Song Choice. Candice has delivered some great performances in the past weeks. "Lovesong" and "When You Believe" are two of her most unforgettable performances. When she does not hold back, she wins the race. Perhaps feeling under the weather can be blamed for the not-so-brilliant numbers last week, but the songs she's picked didn't help, either.

2. Fun Side. Angie Miller's Facebook page is a stark contrast to Candice Glover's social media account. Angie is actively posting photos and engaging fans, while Candice stays more on the quieter side. Candice should loosen up and reach out to fans who believe her talent. They will be more encouraged to vote for her that way.

3. Winner Attitude. Candice is a lot less bubbly than Angie. When they recorded reels of things fans didn't know about them, it was Angie again who drew fans closer. The contestant who wins American Idol is usually the one more relatable and reachable to the viewers. 'Idol' is a singing competition, all right, but the voting element makes it a popularity contest, too.
