Officials of the American Idol have once again made a controversial move for a much bigger plan for the winner of the Season 12 of American Idol 2013! That is, if leaked reports of the next American Idol winner to write HER own coronation song will be put in place.

With only four all-girls in the Top final four on American Idol 2013 Season 12, the finale of America’s top reality show is just around the corner, and the buzz of what the next Idol will sing on coronation night is getting louder.

Are Idol loyalists in for another treat like how they were when Kelly Clarkson had made everyone watched in awe and goosies with her coronation song, “A Moment Like This,” an Idol moment that stayed in the hearts and minds of millions of Idol viewers for years.

As if it was just yesterday when Fantasia Barrino “brought the house down” with her song “I Believe” and Philip Philips breaking records with triple platinum for his coronation single, “Home.”

America would want to see its next Idol with self-written coronation song! And it looks like the Idol producers know what they want! Wetpaint cited The Idol Pad with its leaked report that in the last few weeks, the American Idol Season 12 finalists have “secretly been co-writing songs with known artists.” And wait, there’s more! The report also said that “the coronation song will be the winner’s own song.”

Having gone to a very rigorous process of elimination week after week, The Top 5 finalists sure have aces up their sleeves and they, more than other hopefuls, deserve to sing their self-written, original songs. Even eliminated, Janelle Arthur joins other four Idol finalists to singing their own, co-written songs at this summer’s American Idols LIVE! Tour.

More hints that finalists are already in the works of their own songs? Candice Glover had earlier tweeted to working with country songwriter Monty Powell - - the big shot who was behind in Kelly Clarkson’s big hit “Walk Away” and David Cook’s “Permanent.”

The move of the Idol producers to have the winner create a coronation song is reportedly part of their efforts to release and produce an album just weeks after being named as America’s Idol. A bold move, but it is likely to happen in Idol history.
