“American Horror Story” has been very secretive as to what is to be expected in the upcoming season 6. All that has been revealed are vague clues that leave the fans guessing what theme the next season will feature. However, what is about to come on Season 6 might have already been unintentionally revealed before.

Spoiler alert! This article contains “American Horror Story” spoilers. Read on if you would like to know what happens next before the new episode airs.

Express reveals that the theme for the sixth season for “American Horror Story” will not be revealed at all until the show airs. The production team has apparently taken a very tight-lipped approach. Barely anything has been exposed, even with only around seven weeks remaining until the show returns on air.

In the past seasons of AHS , promotions were quite aggr essive, teasers were everywhere and these kept fans excited for what were about to come next. This time , however, the cast and the crew were notably absen t from the San Diego Comic Con -- an event they have not skipped before. All that was sent was a short teaser which was meant to give out clues, but fans derived almost nothing from what was displayed.

The creator of the show, Ryan Murphy, also wiped his Twitter page clean. Such behaviour was not shown by Murphy when the show’s past seasons were pending.

This oddly quiet behaviour has wor ked to the ire of a lot of fans as several theories and speculations arise as to what the next season will reveal. A post by Pop Sugar says a lot about what themes would be featured in the show’s next season, considering some words Ryan Murphy himself had said before and applying them to the very limited clues.

The post reveals that the “American Horror Story” season six could very likely focus on the antichrist, since Murphy himself had addressed the audience’s obsession for the demon child in 2015 . He even added that he has discussed the matter with his writers but have not committed to anything. Murphy also mentioned that season 6 will be closely connected to season 1.

His hints , however, do not appear to lead to anything definite yet. “American Horror Story” returns for Season 6 in September 14, 2016 on FX. It also airs on Channel Eleven in Australia.
