'American Horror Story' season 6 episode 3 spoilers: Roanoke nightmare continues while the rest of the season’s details are mysteriously withheld

The Roanoke nightmare continues for “American Horror Story” and although considerably a lot has already been revealed and a new episode is already released, fans still have no idea what is really going on.

What is known by fans at this point is that the Miller property is being haunted by a Puritan-era colony with Kathy Bates’ character leading the group. A glimpse of Lady Gaga was also revealed who appeared beside Bates in the roasting scene. Bates’ character is seen saying something about purifying the poor soul at the stake, so the roasting scene might not point out to a demonic sacrifice and instead be used as some sort of ritual to set an example to the colony.

It is also revealed that these 16th century spirits are aiming to kill absolutely everybody in the house, which leaves the daughter of Matt’s sister for last; but still they took her. The episode ends with a cliffhanger with the disappearance of the little girl with the only trace of her being her yellow jacket seen high up in a tree.

Hollywood Reporter also gives an exhaustive breakdown of the said episode. There, it says that Stephanie Gibbons said that there will be no bait and switch. The theme will be revealed after the premiere but that still does not mean that they will now what the season really is about as a whole. After the end of the premiere, viewers speculated that each episode could feature a different “American Horror Story.” The second episode, however, continued “My Roanoke Nightmare.” In the trailer, Bates’ character was seen entering the house while claiming the house as her own and saying that she will stop at nothing to hold safe her colony.

The third season of “American Horror Story” airs every Wednesday at 10 p.m. on FX. It also airs on the TEN Channel in Australia.
