Lady Gaga became the first confirmed cast of “American Horror Story” Season 5 when she took to Twitter to announce her casting as well as to reveal the new season’s theme, just after Season 4 “American Horror Story-Freak Show” wrapped up. She recently dyed her hair blonde, which according to some reports is her look in the upcoming “American Horror Story-Hotel.”

The pop singer shared her blonde look on her Twitter feed, saying : “I heard you called for a blonde @MrRPMurphy #AHSHotel.” [Check the Look Here]. It is being speculated that Gaga, who has signed on as a series regular, will be playing the role of an heiress. In addition to Gaga, the new season will also see Matt Bomer in a leading role. He first made an appearance for a couple of scenes in an episode of “Freak Show” as hustler boy Andy. He is expected to have extensive scenes with Gaga, though the details about their roles have not yet been revealed. Like Gaga, Bomer also has signed on as series regular.

Also returning this season are Kathy Bates, Sarah Paulson, Angela Bassett and Evan Peters. Jessica Lange is done with the series and will not be seen in “Hotel.” And there is uncertainty surrounding Emma Roberts return, as she is headlining Murphy’s new Fox show, “Scream Queens.”

According to Murphy’s Twitter posts, Bates’’ character will be seen running the “Hotel. Paulson’s character is the “baddest bad girl of them all” while Peters’ character will be waiting in room 64. Bassett’s character is set to make trouble with Gaga in the ballroom and everywhere.

Murphy recently announced the casting of “New Girl” actor Max Greenfield, saying that he is checking into the hotel but is not going to check out. Also Murphy said that Greenfield is playing a character that he has never played before. The new season of FX’s horror anthology series will also see Cheyenne Jackson, Wes Bentley and Chloe Sevigny playing major roles.

"American Horror Story” is scheduled to premiere sometime this October. The production is expected to begin in early June and in Los Angeles. The previous two seasons were filmed in New Orleans.
