The "Freak Show" of "American Horror Story" Season 4 is barrelling towards its end. There are only three episodes left to air. The upcoming episode 11 is set to introduce Neil Patrick Harris as Chester, the new owner of the freak show and a magician who likes sawing a woman in half and that too for real. The synopsis of the series finale episode, which is titled "Curtain Call," indicates that a new management takes over the responsibility of running the freak show, as Elsa Mars has relinquished her ownership to try her luck in the tinsel town. The final episode will see Dandy's world and the world of the freaks' colliding.

The final scene of the mid-season finale episode, "Orphans," revealed that Elsa Mars managed to grab the trophy of fame by becoming a TV star. The brief synopsis of episode 13 says, "Elsa arrives in Tinsel town" while "the freaks rebel against new management." Harris has signed on to appear in two episodes of "American Horror Story" Season 4. With Chester's exit in the penultimate episode, it is to be seen who will run the freak show. It is likely to be either Harris' real life husband David Burtka, who is guest-starring in "American Horror Story" Season 4 finale, or the twisted, dangerous man who has lots of money, Dandy.

According to the synopsis of the final episode, Dandy is set to prepare for his debut performance, which will be a dream come true moment for him. In an interview with Salon, Finn Wittrock said that Dandy is "inching closer to the freak show," adding, "... I think I can say the worlds collide without spoiling too much."

"American Horror Story" Season 4 is set to return, with the remaining three episodes, on Jan. 07. The episode 11 is titled "Magical Thinking." This episode will see Elsa making preparations for her move to Hollywood, according to the synopsis of the episode. Also, Dot and Bette are going to be enamoured with Chester. The synopsis describes him as the travelling salesman. Dell will be working on a plan to help Jimmy's escape from police custody.
