BlackBerry is offering amazing discounts on some of its major smartphones that it has released in the recent years. The official BlackBerry blog states that BlackBerry is offering an attractive price cut on the Passport smartphone in a bid to clear off the inventory as Boxing Day 2014 deal. The sale that started on Dec. 26 will end by Dec. 30.

The current Boxing Day deal on BlackBerry smartphones is available for buyers in the U.S. and Canada. The deal allows buyers to purchase the unlocked BlackBerry Passport with a price cut of $100. With the discount, the Passport handset is available at a purchase price of $599. The sale is available on all the three colour variants of the square-shaped smartphone: black, white and the limited edition red colour.

Even the unlocked BlackBerry Z30 is available with a 55 percent discount, states the official blog of BlackBerry. Without the price cut, the usual cost of the handset is $499.The price cut brings down the cost of the device to $225. It further says that the black edition of the BlackBerry Z30 has gone out of stock in the U.S. However, the white version is still available for purchase.

For Canadian shoppers, the unlocked BlackBerry Z30 can take advantage of 50 percent discount that reduces the cost of the device to $250. According to ValueWalk, Blackberry is offering up to 35 percent discounts on various accessories like cases.

DailyTech claims the unlocked BlackBerry Q5 that is normally available with a price tag of $349 is now available with a 50 percent price cut for $175 for Canadian buyers. Interested buyers can head to Amazon or ShopBlackBerry online stores, states ValueWalk.

The official BlackBerry blog adds that the Canadian handset manufacturer is also offering attractive financing options from PayPal. It allows users to shop at ShopBlackBerry and purchase the desired handset by paying six monthly payments through PayPal Credit without making any upfront payment.

According to a product listing with GSMArena, BlackBerry has four handsets this year that includes Z3, Passport, Porsche Design P'9983 and Classic. ValueWalk adds that BlackBerry has sold 1.9 million handsets in the most recent quarter.
