On Wednesday Amazon announced that it will begin its Black Friday holiday deals on Nov. 20. The e-commerce giant introduced the sale a week ahead of Black Friday, giving eight days of holiday deals with lots of twists and turns.

“Customers can truly sit back and relax with their family and friends this holiday season knowing that they will be notified as soon as the products they’ve had their eye on are about to go on sale,” said Steve Shure, Vice President, Amazon Consumer Marketing.

Through this sale, Amazon is also trying to entice customers to use its mobile app and Prime service. Thus, Amazon will not bring in all the good deals at one go. New deals will be introduced in every five minutes for eight days starting this Friday.

Users need to be hooked up to the website or sign up for alerts through Amazon`s mobile app to keep a tab on the Amazon Black Friday deals. The updates will keep you posted throughout these eight days.

"Customers will have access to 10 coveted Deals of the Day starting at midnight on Thanksgiving, and up to 10 more on Black Friday," informed Amazon through a press release.

Additionally, throughout the eight days of deals and offers, shoppers can also access limited-time "Lightning Deals" on thousands products. Prime members will get access to "Lightning Deals" 30 minutes earlier than others, says Amazon.

Moreover, Amazon Prime members in 20 metro areas can enjoy free two-hour delivery on more than 20 million products of "Deals of the Day". There will also be free same-day delivery service in 16 metro areas. However, to avail the benefit, users need to place order via Prime Now mobile app.
