In Leg 12 (Philippines → United States) of "The Amazing Race" Season 25, the four competing teams were given Manila envelopes at the Leg 11 Pit Stop in Fort Sand Diego. They were told to open it only when they are instructed to do so. The teams must continue racing and head on over to the Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Metro Manila to catch a plane bound for the Los Angeles International Airport in California.

As soon as they arrived in L.A., they found a marked Ford Explorer. They had to use the Ford Sync voice control feature to get their next clue, which told them to head to the Los Angeles Downtown City Hall. They need to get a film permit to be approved by the film clerk there.

At the City Hall, they were instructed by the film clerk to go to the Southwest Marine Warehouse and look for the assistant director on set. They need to give their permit to him. Once they handed over the permit, they were given a clue for the Roadblock.

A representative for each of the "TAR" 25 teams had to pick up a satchel and jump out of a third story window that is made of breakaway glass. They need to land on their back on a pile of boxes. A soft mattress was also there for the racers to land safely on.

Unfortunately, Brooke and Robbie arrived late on set and the film crew had already wrapped up for the day. That's why the professional wrestlers were eliminated from the race at this point.

United States Coast Guard Base, Terminal Island:

After experiencing a tiny bit of Hollywood stunts and action from the Roadblock, they were given a clue which instructed them to go to Terminal Island which was where the U.S. Coast Guard Base was located. The "TAR" 25 teams had to participate in a search and rescue exercise with the Coast Guard. They needed to find and retrieve a crash test dummy named Oscar.

After rescuing Oscar safely, they were given the next clue for another Roadblock. They had to go to ConGlobal Industries in Wilmington to perform it.

Leg 12 Roadblock 2: "Who Can't Contain Themselves?":

The three remaining teams had to search for nine shipping containers there that have the names of the cities that they visited on the race. They also needed to memorise the color-coded numbers of each shipping container. Aside from that, they had to know the correct order of the cities that they visited in the race. If they all get the details needed correctly, they will be given their next clue from another shipping container.

The clue directed teams to the Finish Line at the Point Vicente Light in Rancho Palos Verdes.
