Amal Alamuddin, George Clooney's Newly Wed Wife, Stuns Everyone With Her Fashion Sense At Golden Globes Red Carpet

George Clooney's newly-wed wife Amal Alamuddin, now known as Amal Clooney, made her stylish red carpet debut at the 72nd Golden Globe Awards on Sunday in Los Angeles. Smiling and walking hand in hand with her handsome actor husband George, Amal looked glamorous and stunning in a black off shoulder Dior gown and long elbow length white gloves.

According to Daily Mail, the 36-year-old human rights lawyer "look reminiscent of classic movie stars such as Audrey Hepburn," with her one-shouldered Dior Haute Couture gown and her own pair of white gloves. The long dangling earrings from Harry Winston jewels enhanced her look, says E Online. "As long as she doesn't get the train stepped on then I've succeeded," George is quoted as saying to host Ryan Seacrest, according to E Online. The couple looked every inch in love as they walked hand in hand and did not leave each other's side. The duo seemed to be happy, especially as George is receiving the prestigious Cecil B. DeMille Award later this evening.

"The HFPA is honored to bestow the Cecil B. DeMille Award to George Clooney to celebrate his outstanding contributions both in front of and behind the camera," Theo Kingma, the president of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) is quoted by the website as saying. Past recipients of the Cecil B. DeMille Award include Woody Allen, Jodie Foster, Morgan Freeman, Robert De Niro, Martin Scorsese and Steven Spielberg, among others.

Meanwhile, Amal was already in the list of some of the best dressed females at the red carpet. "Fashion Police" star Kelly Osbourne complimented Amal on her "impeccable taste," Daily Mail reports. Another red carpet host Giuliana Rancic called her "a fashion muse" and said that it was the dream of every designer to dress Amal. She added that Amal is not even an actress but has a great sense of fashion and wants to have her hands on everything that is new. This year's Golden Globe Awards are being televised live on NBC at 8pm EST and will be hosted for the third year running by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.
