The modeling business is a tough industry to be part of but once you make it, you're in. For 2012, there were at least 5 names who managed to make it up there and one of them was even hailed "Model of the Year."

Supermodels of the world Gisele Bundchen, Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio and Miranda Kerr may soon need to step down from their throne. A new breed of younger models is on their way to make it on top of the cut throat fashion industry.

Cara Delevingne, Karlie Kloss and Barbara Palvin are just some of the models who are under 25 that have already made their mark in the fashion world. The three gorgeous ladies were recently picked by Victoria's Secret to join their annual runway last November. Meanwhile, Cara Delevingne was named "Model of the Year" by the British Fashion Awards.

Cara Delevingne - There's something about her dark bushy eyebrows that managed to charm designers and magazines all around the world. Not only was she awarded "Model of the Year" by British Fashion Awards but she has become the face of Burberry UK.

Karlie Kloss - Some say that she's too skinny and too bony. But despite her critics, she is considered one of the most in demand younger models of this generation. Her face has appeared in several high-profile magazines. She has also worked with famous designers, Zac Posen and Oscar de la Renta.

Barbara Palvin - Barbara is more than just the model who caused the Selena Gomez- Justin Bieber breakup rumor. She's just 19-years-old but already boasts being L'oreal Paris' newest ambassador.

Kate Upton - She was made famous by her Sports Illustrated cover back in 2011. The American model and actress also did a couple of photoshoots with renowned photographer, Terry Richardson. Apart from being a swimsuit model, she also aspires in becoming an actress.

Frida Gustavsson - The Swedish model has won "Model of the Year" by Elle Sweden back in 2011. She has walked the runway for several famous fashion designers and has been part in campaigns for Marc Jacobs, Anna Sui and Prada.
