Close on the heels of their much publicized wedding extravaganza held in Venice, George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin are planning another wedding reception in London. Clooney reportedly arrived in London and was joined by his newlywed wife at their Berkshire home.

The 53-year-old actor arrived at Heathrow Airport dressed casually and visibly excited, as told by an eyewitness to E!News. The Saturday night post-wedding bash is organized by Clooney's in-laws Baria and Ramzi Alamuddin. The lavish party will be hosted at Danesfield House Hotel & Spa in Buckinghamshire.

Preparations has been in full swing for the evening. The hotel staff erected a huge white marquee in the garden to welcome the guests. The party is organized to honour the newlywed couple and for all those relatives and friends who did not make it to the Venice celebration.

Many of the friends and family members have already arrived in London to attend the wedding reception. Some close family members, including the parents and sister of the bride, visited the newlywed's home for an intimate family dinner on Friday evening.

US Weekly reported that the couple opted to cook the dinner themselves instead of going for formal catering. Alamuddin's was reportedly gushing proudly about her new son-in-law.

Since their lavish wedding on Sept. 27, the couple has been quite busy. Clooney was shooting his new flick 'Tomorrowland' in Vancouver while his barrister bride was in Greece for her latest human rights case.

The weekend party at Danesfield House Hotel will be no less an affair than their Venice wedding. Several crates of champagne, scented freesias, white lilies, purple orchids and mini white roses were delivered to the hotel this morning to deck up the party place by night. The hotel itself is an exquisite place with an area of 65 acres of land at the base of Chiltern Hills, overlooking the Thames River. The party is expected to last till wee hours with five course dinner, ever flowing champagne and lots of music and dance to mark the celebration.
