Leave it to Taylor Swift to make her fans feel special and loved. The Grammy Award singer hosted a special and secret "1989" album hearing party in her own home. However, those invited weren't even famous Hollywood BFFs of the singer but people a lot more close to her heart - her fans, the "Swifties."

In addition to the listening party, Taylor took a few notes on her fans' feedback with regards to the album. Obviously, the party was definitely all fun and laughter as the singer posted a number of Polaroid snaps of her and her fans. Check out all the Polaroid photos from the event here. A special guest was also present that day which was none other than Swift's white grumpy cat named Olivia Benson.

While a number of "Swifties" were all happy about being able to visit Swift's Los Angeles home and listen to her "1989" album, one journalist present at the event dished a few details on the upcoming album. According to the attendee, two songs are ballads and the other ten would be a follow up to Swift's' "Shake It Up" smash hit. Swift also indulged her guests with baked goods, which was pumpkin chocolate chip cookies.

Swift's" fifth studio album, "1989" is set for release on October 27 by Big Machine Records. The album will have 13 songs with special inserts per album. Max Martin and Shellback had worked with Taylor Swift on the album which the songwriter claimed was a "deep song writing process."

"There are probably seven or eight [songs] that I know I want on the record. It's already evolved into a new sound, and that's all I wanted," stated Swift in an interview with Billboard back in November 2013 about her new album.
