Much like the crew from Nostromo back in 1979, one isolated alien is dominating the 2015 BAFTA Game Awards. Or to be clearer, one hit video game titled “Alien Isolation” is leading the field in nominations in this year’s 2015 BAFTA Game Awards.

Despite the unfortunate nature of most licensed games being rushed and poorly made, “Alien Isolation” surprised many by being a well-done horror game that also paid tribute to the movies and managed to garner an estimated score of 81 from Metacritic. “Alien Isolation” is nominated for six categories: Audio Achievement, British Game, Game Design, Game Innovation, Music and the most prestigious of them all Best Game.

Following the rather large tail of the Alien is Ubisoft’s open world shooter “Far Cry 4.” The acclaimed shooter gets five nods for Artistic Achievement, Game Design, Music, Story and Performer. Tied with “Far Cry 4” in terms of nominations, is mobile game “Monument Valley,” which is in the running for Artistic Achievement, Best Game, British Game, Mobile & Handheld and Original Property.

Other notable names that are in the running for various awards include “Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor,” which was also considered a surprise hit in a similar vain to “Alien Isolation,” as it is also a licensed game. Bungie’s incredibly popular shooter “Destiny” will also be leaving an impact as the game gets four nods, along with Nintendo’s eighth iteration of the Mario Kart series “Mario Kart 8.”

According to Eurogamer, Oscar winner Kevin Spacey will also be in the running for the Best Performer award after his performance in Activison’s “Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.” He will be competing alongside Ashley Johnson who voiced Ellie from “The Last of Us” and Adam Harrington who provides the voice for Bigby Wolf on “Fables: The Wolf Among Us among others.

The winners will be awarded on Mar. 12, in London where a special ceremony hosted by Rufus Hound will take place. For a full list of the awards and nominations, click here for IGN’s preview of the event.
