Alec Baldwin's arrrest in NYC on May 13th is making many think he is bipolar. Alec Baldwin was put into handcuffs after his arrest at Fifth Avenue and E. 16th Street in New York City, Hollywood Life reported. He was not arrested for DUI or for speeding; rather, he was arrested for riding his bicycle in the wrong direction and for being disrespectful of police. When the authorities stopped him for biking the wrong way, he did not have an ID to show. The worse thing is, he got tense and belligerent with the police when asked for his ID. When he became really loud and unruly with the officers for doing their job, he was then cuffed and hauled away in an NYPD squad car. Later, Baldwin complained about what happened through Twitter.

Alec, 56 was arrested at 10:15 AM on May 13, according to NY Daily News. "The officers approached him and told him that he was riding the wrong way on the street and asked him for ID," an NYPD spokesman said. "But he didn't have any ID on him. He then began to act belligerent to police."

According to CNN, even though Alec was already calm and quiet while being put into the NYPD car, he was far from calm at first. Alec went ballistic on the cops and was shouting at them. The actor reportedly became angry at the officers, yelling "Give me the summons already," a law enforcement official claimed.

This incident not only caused him to get a ticket for riding the wrong way, he also got a separate ticket for disorderly conduct. This ticket of disorderly conduct does not stop the actor from ranting about police officers and calling them stupid on Twitter though.

"New York City is a mismanaged carnival of stupidity that is desperate for revenue and anxious to criminalize behavior once thought benign," Baldwin wrote. Subsequently, he also tweeted the name and badge number of the female officer who cuffed him to cut off his tirade against the police officers. Baldwin also tweeted that while the police was all too happy to cuff him, they did nothing about the photographers who were drawn to the spectacle and swarmed his home. "Meanwhile, photographers outside my home ONCE AGAIN terrified my daughter and nearly hit her with a camera," he tweeted.

With this latest run-in with the law, Baldwin is now considered a bipolar who is thrilled with courting trouble, according to NY Daily News. It does not help that he had once already threatened to leave New York and yet he did not follow through, tarnishing his image as a bozo who is all talk and no action.
