The hype is not over as the AlDub movie “Imagine You and Me” goes international. The Philippines’ much adored couple is definitely having a huge blast on their first anniversary with their second film together.

Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza, who are known as AlDub, have starred in romantic flick “Imagine You and Me” that was directed by Michael Tuviera. The box-office hit movie was released in light of their first anniversary as a celebrated national couple.

For those who don’t know this Filipino couple, they both started and still are casted in the segment "Juan for All, All for Juan" on "Eat Bulaga," the longest running variety show on the Filipino channel, GMA Network. Starting very simply, with Mendoza crushing on Richards, the AlDub surprisingly became a phenomenal tandem.

AlDub has yet again proven their popularity. After their second movie premiered on July 13, they dominated Twitter trends, even topping the search trends in Australia. As such, for AlDub fans around the globe, “Imagine You and Me” will also be showing in chosen international theatres.

“Imagine You and Me” will also be showing in Singapore, LA, UAE, California, Guam, Canada, Milan, London, Rome, New Zealand and other countries. It is also expected in Australia -- Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Adelaide -- this coming July 30.

To date, “Imagine You and Me” has reportedly brought in worth P21.5 million on its opening day. It is expected to run in local theatres for the next two or three weeks. During their first anniversary on July 16, the AlDub couple had their customized Twitter emoji in which two hands forming a heart appears when the hashtag #AlDub1stAnniversary.

While international fans have to wait before they could see AlDub’s “Imagine You and Me” movie, both Mendoza and Richards are expected to make them feel that the film is worth the wait.
