Wynn Everett will reportedly be playing the role of the comic book villain Madame Masque in “Agent Carter” Season 2. She will be joined by another new cast member Lotte Verbeek, who will be playing the role of Ana Jarvis.

According to a report by Deadline, Everett will be playing the role of Whitney Frost in the TV series. The character first appeared in the comic books as an actress and an inventor, but later turned into the villain Madame Masque.

Everett has worked in many popular TV shows like “The Newsroom,” “NCIS: Los Angeles,” “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Bones.” She has also been a part of movies like “Charlie Wilson’s War” and “The Collective.”

Verbeek’s character in the forthcoming season of “Agent Carter” has been mentioned multiple times in the first season. Ana Jarvis is the wife of one of the main characters of the show Edwin Jarvis (James D’Arcy). Edwin works for Howard Stark (Dominic Cooper) and was instructed to work with the protagonist Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) in the first season to solve a villainous conspiracy.

Ana has been described as a “free-spirited” lady who will befriend Peggy in the next season of the show. The protagonist will be relocating to Los Angeles as the story continues and Ana will help her to get adjusted to her new life in the city.

Two other actors who are said to be joining the show next year are Currie Graham and Reggie Austin. Graham has worked in movies like “Pompeii” and “Hitchcock.” He will reportedly play the role of Calvin Chadwick, who is Madame Masque’s husband. Austin is said to play the role of a “charismatic scientist” named Jason Wilkes and he apparently “charms” the protagonist.

In a recent interview with Variety, executive producers Tara Butters, Michele Fazekas and Chris Dingess said that they are “excited” about the opportunity to introduce Madame Masque in the next season of the show. The producers pointed out that the villainous character has a “storied history” in the comic books.

The producers revealed that they wanted an actress who was “classically glamorous and fiercely intelligent” to play the role of Madame Masque. They felt that Everett was most suited to play the role in “Agent Carter” Season 2.
