Plants vs. Zombies 2 has just enjoyed its first weekend on the App Store and a lot of players are already enjoying the game in their own devices.

But before the craze can even dim down, Electronic Arts has just recently announced another free-to-play mobile game of the same title (almost) as EA's hit game, Dragon Age.

This comes after the release of another mobile gaming app, Ultima Forever: Quest for the Avatar, which is another role-playing app game. It seems like EA is really trying to tap into mobile gaming in a very aggressive way.

Eurogamer reports that House of Dragon Age lets you create your own party of both heroes and enemies, most of which coming from the Dragon Age lore, so you can expect to play as your favorite characters in the game.

So far, there have been no official announcements regarding the release date, but Gamescom is looking to be a good place to wait for more details.

Toy Rush debuts on August 30 in Seattle

If tower defense is your thing, and that you have already been looking forward to another game after Plants vs. Zombies 2, Uber Entertainment may have the right mix of toys and tower defense strategies in its upcoming new gaming up, Toy Rush.

In its official YouTube account, developers wrote, "In Toy Rush, players design and build clubhouse bases and defend them from an army of plush, robots, and beast toys."

Aside from this, you can collect cards, create defense systems that make use of average kiddie toys like rubber bands and gumball launchers, and form clubs. It also has a multiplayer mode, so you can attack friends and steal resources from them as well.

Uber Entertainment's new creation seems to be going for a more cohesive, interactive, and integrated experience for tablets and mobile gaming. Joystiq adds that the release date has not yet been specified, but that it will be making an appearance at the Indie Megabooth at PAX Prime Seattle.

Get on the rush of tower defense games with Toy Rush, where you have to defeat cuddly toys.

Perils of Man

Many were saddened by news of LucasArts closing down early this year, but even with the studio gone, its talents certainly did not let it get to them, as one of the designers of the studio will be coming out with a gaming app later this year.

Titled Perils of Man, VG 24/7 reports that this gaming app from designer Bill Tiller will be looking at time-travel as the centerpiece of the episodic game. The first episode is set for launch on October, with an original two to three-hour storyline following Ana Eberling.

Gameplay-wise, the report states that time-travel will be used as a way to change the destiny of the main character--and possibly the gaming experience--as you go through 24 levels and environments.
