Fans of Adele who saw her perform live during her recent stadium shows in Australia and New Zealand are the luckiest, as the “Hello” singer has announced that she may never tour again now. The 28-year-old told her audience in New Zealand that too much appreciation makes her feel vulnerable.

“Touring isn’t something I’m good at,” Adele told the 40,000-strong crowd at Auckland’s Mount Smart Stadium on Sunday, according to the New Zealand Herald. “Applause makes me feel a bit vulnerable.

"I don’t know if I will ever tour again. The only reason I’ve toured is you. I’m not sure if touring is my bag,” she added.

The singer has a huge fan following, and almost all her tours have been sold-out. Just like a true professional, Adele did not let the stormy weather or any other hinderance come in her way at the open air concert in New Zealand on Sunday.

The singer was so overwhelmed after her performance that she burst into tears and called her 15-month world tour as the “greatest accomplishment” of her career. She acknowledged the fact that the tour changed her life, and she now understands why she does it.

Back in February, during her first leg of the Australia tour, Adele expressed doubt if she wants to tour again. Her thoughts were echoed by her promoter Michael Coppel, who told Australia’s News Corp media last week that Adele is really not interested in touring and that she is only doing so because her fans demand to see her live.

Back in 2011, Adele had to cancel 16 shows because of stage fright and vocal cords surgery. She told the Rolling Stone at that time that she had been so scared of performing, she once threw up on her audience. Stuff.co.nz also reports that her stage fright did not improve till 2015 and that it was actually getting “worse.”

Adele's show at Mt Smart on Sunday, March 26, was her last international show. marking the end of the third leg of her world tour. The British songstress celebrated her last day by partying with friends and co-workers at Seafarers Members' Club in Auckland.
