Maroon 5 has released the music video for their latest single titled "Animals" but some of the fans were not pleased with what they saw. "The Voice" coach Adam Levine portrayed a stalker to his model wife, Behati Prinsloo, in the music video that featured a kissing scene described as disturbing because the couple was covered in blood.

According to a Daily News report, Samuel Bayer directed the "Animals" music video that got released on Monday, Sept. 29. A particular scene in the video has been described disturbing because the 35-year-old singer and his wife shared a passionate kiss while being covered in blood.

The couple did tease about the bloody scenes in "Animals" through shared images on Instagram. Adam Levine shared a bloody pic of himself next to his wife on his Instagram account adamlevine in early September with the hashtag #ANIMALS posted as a caption. Click HERE to see photo.

As for Behati Prinsloo, the 25-year-old Namibian model shared an image of the bloody kissing scene on her Instagram account behatiprinsloo to tease her followers if they are ready for Halloween. "It's out and its bloody, ready for Halloween ??@maroon5 @adamlevine #musicvideo #husband boom??#ANIMALS ?? #fakeblood," Prinsloo posted as a caption to the image on Monday, Sept. 29. An ETOnline.com report pointed out that the lyrics of the Maroon 5 song "Animals" managed to "objectify and degrade women" and the kissing scene while covered in blood was completely disturbing. The music video also showed how Adam Levine, who portrays a butcher, stalked his prey, Behati Prinsloo, like following closely her every move and standing outside of her window while the rain poured down on him.

Maroon 5's latest music video has stirred up a lot of comments from the over three million viewers who watched "Animals" on YouTube channel Maroon5VEVO. Some viewers found the song nice music to listen to but the video was too much for them to watch. Others commented that the "Animals" video was disgusting, creepy, weird, vulgar and they have no idea what the message of the music video is while the devoted fans defended the video and showed support to Maroon 5's music and the video starring Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo.
