“Locked Away” by R.City featuring Adam Levine landed on Vevo and YouTube on Monday, delighting fans who have been waiting to hear new tracks from the artists. Levine lends the vulnerability in his voice to the pop/rap single, which talks about insecurities in love.

Here is a portion of the lyrics of “Locked Away” by R. City feat. Adam Levine: “If I got locked away and we lost it all today/Tell me honestly would you still love me the same/If I showed you my flaws if I couldn’t be strong/Tell me honestly would you still love me the same.”

“Locked Away” has yet to reach viral status, but the song is drawing positive reviews from fans. The track is available on iTunes.

As with most of Maroon 5/Adam Levine music, “Locked Away” captivates the listeners with its catchy bit. It soothes the listener with a combination of good bass and sweet melodies made rich by words that paint a clear picture of what is going on in the song.
