"Charmed" actress Alyssa Milano's birthday is today, December 19, but she already had a surprise celebration last Friday. Her husband, David Bugliari, organized the event at West Hollywood's The London Hotel where family and friends attended the prom-themed birthday party.

The surprise celebration was lavished with decorations of an archway, balloons and prom portraits. David Bugliari, an entertainment and sports agent of the Creative Arts Agency, wanted his wife to experience and enjoy the prom party since she never had the chance to attend one in high-school.

"It's prom-themed because Alyssa didn't have a prom and hers would have been in the 1990's. Everybody dressed up and everyone got a corsage when they walked in," one insider shared to Us Weekly magazine. "Everybody had a great time. Alyssa was really surprised. She had no clue!" another insider revealed to the magazine.

Alyssa Milano's friend celebrities present at the celebration were music artist Ludacris, "The Hangover" star Ken Jeong and film producer Brian Grazer. The party guests also enjoyed listening and dancing to the music of DJ Vivacious-Lee as well as posing for their pictures to be taken at several photo booths.

The beautiful actress grew up before the public's eye since she started her acting career at a young age. In 1984, Milano appeared weekly in every America's living room television set as Samantha Micelli, daughter of Tony Micelli, portrayed by actor Tony Danza in the series "Who's The Boss?"

Milano further rose to fame when she portrayed character Phoebe Halliwell on hit TV series "Charmed" from 1998-2006. Now, the actress will once again appear on television in the upcoming ABC series "Mistresses" which will debut in 2013.

Alyssa Milano and David Bugliari have been happily married since August 2009. The couple has a son named Milo.
