On Monday, a video footage released by Telegraph UK reportedly showed AC/DC Drummer Phil Rudd lashing out at a cameraman outside his home in New Zealand. The incident took place after he returned home from the New Zealand court on bail. Nonetheless, Rudd, who is currently charged with one year of prison and a fine of AU$1784.92, would be appearing again before court for entering the plea, on August 3.

Rudd, the Australian-born drummer of rock band AC/DC, was released on bail after being charged with consuming alcohol while being under home detention. On Sunday, he was arrested for violating the conditions of his home detention and held until he appeared in court, reported Rudd's lawyer, Craig Tuck. However, police refused to comment on the nature of the arrest.

The news of the arrest came 10 days after he was sentenced to home detention for eight months after he pleaded guilty for possessing drugs such as methamphetamine and marijuana and attempting to kill a former employee last November. However, the charge was initially dropped because the investigation team couldn’t gather enough evidence against him.

USA today reported that since the sentence hearing of the case, he has been subjected to constant monitoring and warned that any breach could land him in jail. He has been residing in New Zealand after he was sacked from his band in the year of 1983. However, later rejoined AC/DC in the mid 90s.

According to the summary of the facts provided by the court, the whole incident took place because of the unsuccessful launch of his solo album, which led him to fire employees, including the victim whose name has been withheld on court’s order. His son told the media that his father was as kind as possible and excess intake of drugs compelled him to do such things.

The court documents reveal, Rudd acknowledged to have bribed an associate to kill the victim. In addition, on searching Rudd’s house, police found huge quantity of marijuana in several corners and a packet of methamphetamine in his pocket.

Meanwhile, it seems like his future with AC/DC might come to an end as reports say that he has been replaced by Welsh drummer Chris Slade for its current "Rock or Bust" album world tour. However, no one could confirm whether that's a long-term arrangement.
