Phil Rudd is back in handcuffs again. The AC/DC drummer has been questioned by the police after he was seen outside Tauranga Girls’ College on Thursday morning.

SunLive reports that the 60-year-old Australian rocker was seen on Cameron Road being spoken to by the police. He appeared to have been arrested after they put him in handcuffs.

It is unclear what prompted the arrest. Tauranga Police Senior Sergeant Owen O’Brien told the paper that they wouldn’t be releasing other information until their investigation is complete. Rudd’s lawyer Paul Mabey also said that the ageing rock star was at the police station with another lawyer. No charges have been laid.

“He was out and bloody dancing around and carrying on and ... led back to the cop car and was driven away,” witness Tim Carson told the New Zealand Herald. He added that the police pulled over two cars outside the school, and it appeared that the one car had been chasing the other one.

The troubled musician is already facing threatening to kill and possession of methamphetamine and cannabis charges. He did not attend his court schedule on Tuesday, but had his lawyer plead not guilty to the charges on his behalf.

He was initially also charged with attempting to procure a murder when he was arrested following a police raid on his home in early November. However, that was dropped after less than a day due to lack of evidence.

Meanwhile, AC/DC has recently released their first album without founding member Malcolm Young. Co-founder Angus Young said in earlier interviews that the band had experienced problems with Rudd during the recording of “Rock or Bust.” Whatever happens with Rudd’s case, it would not affect the band’s touring plans.
