The young guitarist quickly shows a devil's horn to the camera, and the band starts to play "Forty Six & 2" by Tool. The bass player enters with Justin Chancellor's bass line, and his bass tone gives you that perfect kick. The crunchy signature Chancellor tone is what blows my mind as I continue to sail through the song with my mouth wide open. "They are so f***ing tight," I say to myself. Wait, there is more. Maynard's vocals. A little high school girl starts to sing...

"My shadow's

Shedding skin and

I've been picking my scabs again..."

Her voice has the innocence of a girl, and at the same time it is menacing as the real deal. Their cover of "Forty Six & 2 has become a smash hit on YouTube with over two million views in just 15 days!

Now, you must be thinking who these wonder kids are. Well, they are students of Aaron O'Keefe, a singer and multi-instrumentalist. Aaron confessed that like many musicians, he started playing music to impress a girl back in 4th grade. He started taking piano lessons and diligently learned and composed a few love songs (for the girl!).

One day he said to his mom, "I'd like to quit lessons now." Her mom laughed and told him that he had made a commitment to piano and must give it some more time. From then on he never looked back.

Now, Aaron offers private lessons for students ages 10 to 18. These lessons are held at Loveland Music Academy, Lebanon Music Academy and Maineville Music Academyc. The unique style of Aaron is that he encourages his students to play songs by metal giants like Tool, Pantera, Iron Maiden, Dream Theater, Judas Priest and more. That's not all, he makes an effort to record these covers in professional music studios and the result is a smash hit cover.

One song that got the world's attention was "Ghosts Along the Mississipi." Phil Anselmo, front man of Down and Pantera praised the efforts of the students and Aaron. "Unbelievable! These kids are great! How flattering! If they keep it up (learning from the best), they'll be getting a call from me to jam in a couple of years!" Phil said about the video of "Ghosts Along the Mississippi."

The band also performed and recorded covers of "The End of Heartache" and "My Curse" by Killswitch Engage. The actual members of Killswitch Engage were very impressed by their performances and contacted Aaron to inquire on how they can send gifts to the kids.

My neck still hurts as I, vigorously, headbang to Forty Six & 2. The drummer and bassist kill the song with superb precision and of course loads and loads of passion.

Aaron, reporters at International Business Times, Australia wish if your students can perform "Right in Two" and "Vicarious" by Tool. We have our devil's horns up as we do a little circle pit and mosh in our office! Cheers and keep it up!
