Samsung Electronics unveiled its most anticipated Galaxy Note 5 well ahead of Apple’s next iPhone in the hopes of making an indelible effect in the smartphone market. All the iterations of the original Note came with high-end and powerful specs targeted at the most committed smartphone users. However, the Note 5 has many unique features in store for both conventional and business users.

Sign documents with the S Pen

Catering to the huge market of business users, Samsung Note 5 makes life easier with the S Pen. Users can sign documents and even annotate PDF files directly. This handy feature saves time in printing, signing and scanning documents altogether.

It is reportedly the best thing that can happen to any business user on the move. Few more interesting things that owners can perform include taking notes without unlocking the phone and write emails or text messages without tapping the on-screen keyboard.

Wireless charging

Giving meaning to wireless charging, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 can be charged with any standard wireless charging pad. Note 4 does not have the built-in wireless charger, but it can be charged wirelessly with various accessories.

Samsung Pay

With Galaxy Note 5, users do not need to carry the wallet anymore. It allows contactless payments at a huge number of existing payment terminals. Along with Near-Field Communication, or NFC, it uses Magnetic Secure Transmission, or MST, which is the same technology that nearly every credit card reader uses to process credit cards. It enables contactless payment almost anywhere and everywhere.

Stream live video directly to YouTube

For Note 5, Samsung partnered with YouTube to introduce a new feature. The live-streaming feature built into its camera app enables users to stream 1080p video in widescreen from any YouTube account. It is the first device to allow streaming directly to YouTube. In an iPhone, the only way to stream live video is with third-party apps, and majority of them shoot only in portrait, according to a report on Business Insider .

A unique snapper

There are few unique camera features which elevate the Note 5 to a different level. According to News.co.au , the device allows the user to take pictures in RAW, without processing in the camera app. Later, the photo can be edited in full detail in another program. Another amazing camera feature includes change in shutter speed in low light.

Other features

The Note 5 ropes in a few more interesting features related to screen capture and file sharing. Scroll Capture allows the user to scroll down to take multiple screenshots and finally group them together into one single screenshot. There is another appealing feature called SideSync, which enables users to transfer file to and from the Note 5 to both Macs and Windows PCs. It replicates the phone's screen on the desktop, says previous reports.
