Games from 2K Games featured in the Humble Bundle Humble Bundle

Humble Bundle is offering eight titles from developer 2K Games amounting around $400 for only $15, and a 40 percent off coupon for XCOM 2. The controversial game Battleborn, which was only released 3 months ago, is included in the bundle. Other big titles include Spec Ops: The Line, Civilization V and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel.

The games available in the 2K Humble Bundle have garnered positive reviews, with the exemption of Battleborn and NBA 2K16. Both games have suffered scrutiny from Steam users and have a “mixed” review rating.

Battleborn was initially received well by critics and gamers. The game was overshadowed by the more popular Overwatch and had mediocre sales. It suffered from issues that were not quickly addressed by the developers that led to a quick decline in playerbase. The sudden addition of pricey micro transactions to the game, on top of its expensive base game price, angered the playerbase even more.

NBA 2K16 suffered negative criticisms from its badly implemented story mode. Players were quick to point out major flaws that was ignored by the developers. The majority’s consensus was that players were able to create a Caucasian or Latino custom character but the character’s family members were African-Americans.
