The 2017 NBA Draft will emanate from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Thursday evening. For the second year in a row, the Philadelphia 76ers, Los Angeles Lakers and Boston Celtics will make the first three selections from a draft class that is being touted as arguably the finest since 2003.

The Celtics (via Brooklyn Nets) won the NBA Draft Lottery in May but recently swapped picks with the Sixers, who drew the No. 3 pick in the draft. Philadelphia sent a future first-rounder to the Celtics that added yet another draft pick to its ever-growing chest of assets. While the Sixers are expected to draft Washington point guard Markelle Fultz with the No. 1 overall pick, the Celtics are reportedly torn between forwards Jayson Tatum and Josh Jackson. There is also the possiblity of Celtics packaging the pick for an All-Star.

2017 NBA Draft: Blockbuster trades can't be ruled out

Several teams are expected to execute last-minute trades that could perhaps steal the spotlight from the actual NBA Draft. The New York Knicks are reportedly seeking a Top-4 pick and an established starter in exchange for Kristaps Porzingis. The Indiana Pacers are weighing all offers and on the verge of pulling off a Paul George trade. There has also been talk of the Los Angeles Clippers shopping DeAndre Jordan.

The Lakers, for a third consecutive year, would select No. 2 in the draft. D'Angelo Russell, drafted No. 2 overall in the 2015 NBA Draft, was on Tuesday traded to the Brooklyn Nets in exchange for Brook Lopez and the No. 27 pick in Thursday's draft. Last year, the Purple & Gold drafted lanky forward Brandon Ingram.

The Phoenix Suns will pick No. 4 followed by Sacramento Kings, Orlando Magic, Minnesota Timberwolves, New York Knicks and Dallas Mavericks. The Kings will pick again at No. 10, an asset they procured as part of the DeMarcus Cousins trade in February. According to various mock drafts, Sacramento is expected to select exciting point guard De'Aaron Fox at No. 5 and Gonzaga big man Zach Collins at No. 10. 2017 NBA Draft live streaming info follows.
