Apple will reportedly be releasing a new line of MacBook Airs this 2015 with some noting some big changes to come. According to recent information, Apple may be including the Retina technology finally on the MacBook Air line with the company trying to resize the product to 12-inches. Some analysts think this can be a game changer upon release. Can Apple deliver a killer Mac line?

Analysts have been predicting about a newly sized MacBook Air on its way as part of Apple's bid to revive and promote its computer line better. People have been expecting the Retina treatment on the MacBook Air for quite some time as the rest of Apple's products have been integrated with it. The iPad Air, the iPad Mini including the iMac 5K have all been benefiting from it according to the IT Portal.

Previously, the release was expected around October but Intel's production problems delayed the launch. Apple has delayed the release because Intel's chips are reportedly crucial for the production of the new laptop line allowing for a low thermal design power (TDP). This means Apple can pull off a high-definition display on the Air without draining the battery life.

Many analysts see the upcoming MacBook Air to be the best or most impressive of the laptop line yet because of several expected features. These include a new trackpad design without the mechanical element and an even thinner build. It will also be available in three colors: gold, space grey and aluminium grey.

As tablets struggle against market share, it appears manufacturers are realizing the value of laptops once more as HP releases a new laptop that follows the footsteps of the MacBook Air closely. According to The Verge, the new HP EliteBook Folio 1020 is meant for the hardcore business users. It is also thinner and lighter compared to the current MacBook Air noting HP's intent on gaining a better market share in the laptop industry. The laptop comes with an 8GB of RAM as well as an SSD ranging from 128GB to 256GB. It also runs on Intel Core M Processor plus nine hours of battery life.
