"Fargo," "The Affair" and "True Detective" have earned top TV honours in the 72nd Golden Globe Nomination list. FX's anthology series "Fargo" leads the TV List, with five nominations, including for Best actor in a mini-series or TV movie (Billy Bob Thornton), Best actress in a mini-series or TV movie (Allison Tolman) and Best TV movie or mini-series. Netflix continues its good run at the award nominations, scoring multiple nominations for both "Orange is the New Black" and "House of Cards." James Spader portrayal of Raymond 'Red' Reddington in "The Blacklist" gets him a nomination in the best actor for a drama series category. He will have to beat Clive Owen ("The Knick"), Liev Schreiber ("Ray Donovan"), Kevin Spacey ("House of Cards") and Dominic West ("The Affair") to get hold of the Golden Globe.

Jessica Lange and Kathy Bates have earned Golden Globe nominations for their roles in "American Horror Story" Season 4, which is subtitled "Freak Show." Taylor Schilling has nabbed a nomination in the Best actress in a TV series -- comedy category for playing Piper Chapman in "Orange is the New Black." Schilling's co-star Uzo Aduba also has won a Golden Globe nomination. She will have to beat Bates to win the award for Best supporting actress in a series, mini-series or TV movie.
