The "Silver Linings Playbook" star Jennifer Lawrence won the Best Female Actor Award at the 2013 SAG Awards. But instead of noticing Jennifer's triumph, the Christian Dior gown she wore during the event was the one that drew the audience's attention after it almost ripped in half.

When Jennifer Lawrence walked towards the stage to accept her trophy, it appeared that her dress got stuck on a chair's leg which caused the wardrobe malfunction. The 22-year-old actress was stunned as well as the other celebrities at the event with the embarrassing fashion moment.

The tear on the dress is more visible when Jennifer Lawrence walked on the stage stairs to accept the award from actor Robert De Niro. Jennifer Lawrence quickly regained her composure and gave out an excellent acceptance speech without mentioning the wardrobe malfunction.

Despite the unexpected dress trouble, Jennifer Lawrence still looked dazzling in the Christian Dior gown, side-swept hair, red lipstick and Chopard jewelries. Moreover, Jennifer reportedly suffered from pneumonia but still decided to attend the prestigious SAG Awards in Los Angeles.

Meanwhile, a spokesperson from the Christian Dior Couture released a statement claiming that there was no wardrobe malfunction with Jennifer Lawrence's gown. According to the spokesperson, the navy dress was designed with a split which looks like a tear during movement.

"The dress is made with different levels of tulle and satin and that is what the viewers saw when Jennifer lifted her dress slightly. It was not ripped and there was no malfunction. It was the design of the gown," the spokesperson from the famous fashion design house told USA Today.
