The radiation wave arrives in “The 100” season 4 episode 11. The Sky People have a choice to make now. In the preview video released online, Bellamy wants to play the hero, not to help humanity, but for personal reasons. The following article contains spoilers.

The Sky People have taken the bunker for themselves, and locked the door. In essence, they have sealed the fate of the thousands who are waiting to get in. Jaha (Isaiah Washington) confirms that the radiation levels on the outside have reached critical levels.

Desperate to save themselves, and after being promised entry by the champion of the Conclave – Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos), the people of various tribes reach the temple and demand to get in. Jaha refuses to budge, and is adamant about keeping the doors of the bunker closed. His reasoning is that the people on the outside will kill all Skaikru if they are allowed to come in. Since they locked themselves in, they have no idea about the outcome of the Conclave and what that resulted in.

While the others can sit and do nothing, and watch people on the outside die, Bellamy (Bob Morley) can’t do the same. He is worried about his sister, and wants to know what happened to her. With desperate cries for help on the outside, he wants to open the doors and let everyone in.

Octavia is also hoping that her brother comes to their rescues. Her faith is not misplaced, but there are challenges that Bellamy has to face.

Clarke (Eliza Taylor) is going down a very slippery slope of the dark side. There has been justification for her actions, when she looks at the big picture and wants to save humanity. But, at what cost? How many lives is she willing to sacrifice?

In the preview video of “The 100” season 4 episode 11, Clarke points her gun at Bellamy and stops him from opening the door. She says she will do what she has to, to ensure their survival.
